Dr. Lin Hengyue’s playing has been described as “High-spirited, warm-hearted, with feeling and sensitivity” by The Straits Times. Currently piano faculty and academic faculty at Singapore Raffles Music College, she frequently holds masterclasses, lectures, and adjudicate local and international competitions. Hengyue holds a Doctor of Musical Arts degree in piano performance with a supporting area in piano pedagogy. She received Master’s and Bachelor’s degree in piano performance under full scholarships from Peabody Institute and Yong Siew Toh Conservatory respectively. She has performed solo recitals and appeared in concert series at the United States Department of States, the Carnegie Hall, the Singapore Embassy in Washington D.C. and etc.
